Fortune House Brooklyn offers authentic Chinese American cuisine for take-out and dine-in. There are many options for appetizers, soups, meat, and seafood dishes on the menu. There is also a section dedicated to steamed foods and a variety vegetarian options. This restaurant does not participate in the OpenTable reservation system, but they do offer take-out.

The staff was attentive and very busy at Fortune House. Nearly every table was attended to. The manager, who wore glasses and a black suit, was always on hand to clear tables and ask about customers. Sometimes, he stopped to speak with his customers.
