No Fetal Pole At 6 Weeks Success Stories

If you are expecting a baby but you don’t see a fetal pole at six-weeks gestation, there are still things you can do to try and conceive. An ultrasound is one option. This can help you determine if your pregnancy is real. An ultrasound can also show a heartbeat. During your first ultrasound, your doctor will look for a heartbeat, which may indicate the presence of a blighted ovum.

A fetal pole is a small bump on the surface of the uterus that will grow to a fetus or baby. A fetal pole can be as short as a few millimeters or as long as two centimeters. A viable pregnancy should have a 6- to 8-week fetal pole. A fetal circle smaller than this could indicate miscarriage or an incorrect date. The fetal pole is situated next to the ‘yolk sac’, a sac containing nutrients for the embryo. Both the pole and the yolk sac are located in the uterus.

If you find that your pregnancy is still alive and viable, you should make an appointment to see your Ob/Gyn. If you don’t have a yolk sac, you may be only a few weeks along. In some cases, a woman may have a miscalculated gestational age, which can be due to a memory error or irregular menstrual cycle. Nevertheless, it’s worth a visit to a fertility clinic to see a fetal pole.

Another treatment for no fetal pole at six weeks is the implantation of the fetus in the uterus. A healthy placenta is essential for a successful pregnancy. Avoid mercury, raw eggs, and all meats. Also, consult your healthcare provider if taking any medication. To improve your health, you should eat a healthy diet.

Six weeks after conception, the embryo’s head can be seen, with the yolk sac intact. The embryo’s length is measured from head to buttocks. The crown-rump length (or MSD), is the most accurate measurement. It should be at least 25 mm. You should consider another option if the MSD is less than 25 mm. You might find the right option that suits your family. You’ll be glad you did!
