Journal of Contemporary Accounting & Economics
Journal of Contemporary Accounting & Economics is a peer-reviewed journal in the Science branch of the Social Sciences. It publishes high-quality manuscripts with an emphasis on empirical research. Its focus is on the Asia-Pacific region, although it welcomes submissions from other areas and countries. The Journal’s impact factor ranks it in the top 6% of all journals in the Science branch of the Social Sciences. The impact factor is calculated by counting citations to articles in peer-reviewed journals, books and conference papers. Patents and working papers are not included in this measure.
All submitted papers will be reviewed by an editor. If the editor finds the paper suitable, it will be sent to two independent reviewers. These reviewers will evaluate the quality of the paper and make a decision based on their judgement. The editorial board reserves the right to accept or reject an article for publication. The editors do not review papers written by family members, colleagues, and/or relatives.
