When Can I Wear My Retainer After Wisdom Teeth Removal

You should wear your retainer after you have your wisdom teeth removed. Your retainer will be tight for the first few days. Your dentist may recommend that you wear your retainer again once you feel comfortable. The general rule is a week or two. Your retainer should fit snugly again after two weeks. You should also avoid playing musical instruments for at least 10 days. You may feel unwell for up to a week after surgery.
