Dr Wang Xi, TTU Research Asst
Dr. Wang Xi earned a PhD in electronics engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in 2001 and an MS in Applied Mathematics from Kunming University of Technology in 1986. Before joining the University of Texas at Austin he was a Teaching Assistant at Chongqing Normal University and a Lecturer at Chongqing University of Post and Telecommunication. He was also a visiting scholar in Australia for a year.
His research interests include Cloud, Grid and Distributed Database. His research has been recognized at both the national and international level. In fact, he was awarded the Gold medal in the fourth annual international invention competition held in Canada. In addition, he has authored several patents in the physical layer of digital communications.
