Fortune began his MMA career in high school, where he was a two-time state wrestling champion. Later, he went on to represent Grand Canyon University in NCAA competition. Fortune did not get off to a good start against Cleveland, but he landed a massive right uppercut that sent Cleveland against a fence and forced referee Jason Herzog to stop the fight. Fortune is now 12-2 with nine finishes. He’s also the seventh-ranked heavyweight in Bellator.
