Dallas Fashion Travel Blogger Photographer

Steph Drenka is a Dallas-based fashion travel blogger and photographer who keeps her readers up-to-date with all of her latest blog posts. Her blog features outfit posts, photos from her travels around the world and articles about her favorite things in life.

Her website also includes a section that showcases her photographs and videos from her travels. She also hosts a YouTube channel that showcases weekly vlogs, fashion and lifestyle related content.

She started her blog in 2009 as a hobby, but now it has grown to a full-time career. It has helped her find work she loves, while allowing her to pursue her passions of photography and writing. She is currently a communications specialist, but she still works as a freelancer on the side.

Earlier this year, Drenka found herself addressing issues of racial prejudice and violence against Asian Americans in the wake of the 2021 Atlanta Spa Shootings. She was working as a communications director at Dallas Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation, and she knew she had to do something about it.

After learning about Suzanne Insook Ahn, a Korean American activist in Dallas who fought for the rights of Asian Americans and women, she began to write about her. But she discovered that most people in the city had never heard of Ahn.

That was when she and her friend Denise Johnson started to think about how they could tackle a problem that was impacting the community, particularly the Asian American population. They wanted to do something to amplify Asian American stories and preserve history, and so they decided to form the Dallas Asian American Historical Society in March.
