Jawaharlal Nehru Centre of Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) is inviting applications from first-year BSc students for the Project Oriented Biology Education (POBe) course. This course combines academics with creativity. It aims to foster a passion for science, and to train promising young scientists.
The POBE programme offers a combination of lectures, laboratory projects, and research. It is an integrated programme, and will run during the summer vacation. The duration of this course is six to eight weeks. In addition, students are required to work for three consecutive summers to complete the course. Graduates will earn a Diploma in Biology. The programme also offers students the option to specialize in a particular research area.
