Graco Modes Basix Travel System

Graco Modes Basix Stroller Review

A Graco Modes Basix travel system is ideal for growing families, as it can accommodate babies from infant to toddler age. It boasts a spacious storage basket and includes both parent and child trays as well as a lockable front wheel to help keep your kids secure.

The Graco Modes travel system is designed to fit all Graco click connect technology infant car seats, making it simple for parents to get their baby in and out of the car and onto a stroller with ease. In fact, the Modes is compatible with the top-rated infant car seat on the market – the Graco SnugRide Click Connect 35 Infant Car Seat – so you can use it from birth until they’re old enough to ride independently.

It features a spacious canopy, one-hand standing fold and many extra features designed to make it easier for parents to use. Plus, its large storage basket and ample canopy will shield your child from the sun’s rays.

The Uno2Duo does not feature a reversible seat like the Modes does, making it perfect for kids who like to switch positions and have different options of seating. Plus, at an amazingly affordable price point, this product provides many features at a great value.

However, it’s surprisingly heavy for a non-all terrain stroller and may not be worth the weight if you plan to use it only on smooth terrain. If weight is an issue for you, other choices might be more suitable.

For under $200, the UPPAbaby Cruz V2 reversible stroller is an excellent choice. At 25.5 lbs, it’s very similar to its older sibling the Modes model with some minor improvements.

The Cruz stroller does have some drawbacks, but they are minor. Some reviewers have complained about switching modes being difficult; you may need to practice using it a few times before feeling confident using it.

It is also not recommended to use the Modes with a newborn in an infant car seat, as they may feel uncomfortable.

In terms of versatility, the Graco Modes offers more riding options than its competitor the Uno2Duo; in fact, it even features a bassinet-style seat! While the Uno2Duo only offers 11 ways to ride, the Modes model boasts an incredible 27 ways!

Finally, the Graco Modes offers more storage capacity than its smaller counterpart, the Uno2Duo. It comes with both a parent tray and child tray which are both easily maneuverable and provide ample room for all of your essential items.

The Modes also offers a spacious storage basket that can hold diaper bags and other essentials. This makes it the ideal option for busy moms who don’t want to carry around a backpack.

The Graco Modes stroller is one of the simplest to fold and store, weighing only 23 lbs. That makes it much lighter than comparable models like UPPAbaby Cruz or other reversible strollers, making it an ideal option for those who require quick folding when not in use.
