If you’re looking for a tasty takeaway meal from a popular St. Petersburg restaurant, consider Good Fortune. This quirky eatery has an elaborate menu and an equally outrageous drink menu. The atmosphere is hip and fun, and the restaurant features an impressive photo gallery. Every check comes with a “Good Fortune” button.
The restaurant was originally a take-out place. It was remodeled in 2017. It changed its direction to focus more on seated dining rather than takeout, and the menu reflected regional Chinese cuisines. The original owners of the restaurant left and new owners moved across Tower Grove Avenue. The American-Chinese flavor returned, however. Ryan McDonald’s founder and Corey Smale described the new menu as “New American Chinese”
