The Austin Police Department responded to a collision in the 8400 Research Blvd NB area. The driver of a black 2008 Nissan Armada was in the inside lane of traffic when he suddenly veered to the right and struck an outside guard rail. The driver, a male, was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center with fatal injuries. He passed away a few days later.
